Style: Second Nature Broadoak Natural, Blanco Maple Silestone worktop
The Brief: It was important to our clients that their new kitchen was family friendly as with three young children the kitchen needed to be practical and accommodate all of their needs. The large room needed definition between the dining and cooking area so a partitioning wall of shallow depth units was added to the layout. Not only does this ‘zone’ the areas but it also adds extra storage space too. The curved units on the edges not only ensured all the edges were child friendly but added a flowing element to the design too.
Storage was essential in this kitchen so the effective storage systems such as magic corners, pull out larders and towel rails were added in the design. The clients liked the traditional look of the Shaker oak cabinetry but wanted to inject a contemporary twist, so modern stainless steel bar handles and an on trend white silestone worktop were used. The use of curved drawers and a glass splash-back highlight the hob area and make this a feature area within the kitchen.
The Kitchen People are so easy to work with and helped us create a kitchen that exceeded our expectations. They make design opportunities come alive and know exactly the combination of products to execute the project to a genuinely high standard.
